Multicultural Activity of a Children Library in a Foreign Language: Purposes, Forms and Experiments

Annotation: In the article a children’s library is considered as the unique environment for social, cultural, cognitive and communicative development by means of world cultures and foreign languages. Possibilities of libraries’ participation in the processes of school specialization trainings as resource centers of network elective courses are considered while taking the Russian State Children’s Library (RSCL) as an example.
