Annotation: Interrelations of two types of communication cultures are considered: books and information. A formula of intelligence and intellectuality, allowing to reveal principles of book communication (The Gutenberg Galaxy) and of digitized information communication (The McLuhan Galaxy) is offered. Functioning of the Internet as the main stream of the McLuhan Galaxy is reviewed in detail.
