The Project of Unified City Library Network Foundation in Pre-revolutionary Petrograd

Annotation: The article describes a project of the unified city library system creation in Petersburg-Petrograd (1914—1915) based on the transformation of the city reading hall libraries existing at that time and belonging to the City Government, split-off of the children’s libraries and creation of the central city library.
