Youth in the Information Space: Reading and Digital Environment (Outcomes of the Study on the Students' Reading in the Oryol Region)

Annotation: The role of digital information technologies and Internet in students? reading behaviour is considered, because it is especially important today to exploit new potentialities for developing the culture of reading and for effective interaction with cyberspace. The idea of nature and content of students' reading in the region is given on the basis of the outcomes of the sociological study conducted in the Oryol region in 2007—2008.
