Abstract: The article focuses on a process of regional collection modeling in the central library of the Khabarovsk Territory. A variety of models were tried out: descriptive, mathematical, structural and bibliographical. The authors make an attempt to develop a conceptual model and describe ways to optimize the processes of regional holdings development.
