Orenburg Army Garrison Libraries in the middle of XIX — early XX century

Abstract: Since the beginning of its history, the Orenburg Province was a cross-border region and had
a considerable number of military population, therefore it is impossible to ignore such a cultural phenomenon, as military libraries. The article contains information about some libraries of the Orenburg military garrison and about circle of officers’ reading.
