The Factory Libraries of Ivanovo-Voznesensk in late XIX — early XX century

Abstract: The article is devoted to the history of the factory libraries in Ivanovo-Voznesensk of the late of the XIXth — early XXth сentury, which materials practically have not been published earlier. The author considers the main statistical indicators of the reading rooms and analyzes their necessity and influence on the working population of the town.
