- have operational advice on using catalogues of the department
- refer to the information desk for bibliographic information on particular items from the stock
- access the cartographic items stocked by the department
- access the items on CDs stocked by the department
- access bibliographic indexes and reference books from the auxiliary stock of the department
- to copy parts of cartographic publications on the tracing table (strictly on approval of the desk librarians)
Fee-based:
- request particular references
- copy cartographic publications (strictly on approval of the personnel in charge)
- in particular cases — take photos of cartographic publications
