Here you can:
- access all the items stocked by the Department of recent periodicals
- access the information on stocks through the system of card-catalogues (alphabetical card register with classifying and geographical indications, the card-catalogue for new titles, alphabetical card register of dissertations, etc), digital data base for national and international journals and magazines and Digital Catalogue of RSL
- refer to the information desk for advice on search and selection of information sources within the referential apparatus of the department, the data base and Digital Catalogue of RSL for extra details of a document
- to access items on themed displays and displays for recent acquisitions
- make inquiries on the opening hours of RSL and the reading room and forthcoming events
- use library computers and software, access the web-site of RSL
- bring and use unplugged devices with sounds switched off, such as laptops, voice recorders, audio players, audio devices (except CD and DVD players)
Fee-based:
- use on-line sources and services, licensed data bases and e-copies of publications available from the IP-addresses of RSL in accordance with license agreements
- have dedicated references and consulting on using the e-sources
- receive dedicated bibliographic consultation on searching referential and bibliographic data bases
- have items copied in accordance with 'The RSL Rule for providing copying, micro-copying and scanning services' (printed out or saved on an optic CD provided by RSL)
- receive access to referential viewing pages of items stocked in the department for recent periodicals
