Here you can:

• access the items stocked by the department
• access the Digital Catalogue of RSL and the specific databases of the department, as well as the card catalogue system of RSL and the department
• reserve items retrieved from the depository for your reader card number
• extend the period of hold by phone or in person
• refer to a bibliograpfer for operational advice on search and selection of sources, details and facts related to an item and subject-related selection of items
• inquire on the opening hours of RSL and the reading room, forthcoming events
• use the library computers, bibliographic databases and RSL Digital Catalogue (computer sessions have time limits), and microform readers
• refer to the information desk for operational advice on reading microforms
• attend educational public events organised by the department: lectures, workshops, bibliographic reviews, excursions and exhibitions
• on approval of administrative personnel to bring and use unplugged devices with sounds switched off, such as laptops, voice recorders, audio players, audio and video devices (except CD and DVD players)

Fee-based:

• have microforms copied in accordance with 'The RSL Rule for providing copying, micro-copying and scanning services'
• retrieve dedicated bibliographic and factual references and/or subject-related selection of sources based on the referential and bibliographic apparatus of RSL, in case a patron would like to outsource use of catalogues, reference and bibliographic sources
